Ductless Mini-Split Installation for a Chesapeake Home
Single-zone wall-mounted system for a newly finished room
A Chesapeake homeowner finished a new room and needed heating and cooling without tearing into the existing ductwork. A single-zone ductless mini-split was the clean answer. We mounted the indoor unit high on the wall, ran the refrigerant lines and drain through the wall in a sealed sleeve, dressed the line set in a line-set cover down the siding, and set the outdoor condenser on a pad beside the house. The homeowner got a quiet, efficient system with its own remote and thermostat, and the room is comfortable year-round with no visible refrigerant lines inside or out.
